He Sits Alone
14 May, 2007
Author: Tricia
He sits alone, no smile upon his face.
He wishes for more in his life.
He day dreams about a girl far away,
seeing her face and feeling the want of touching her.
time to time he speaks with her.
sharing dreams and thoughts.
Yet his thoughts keep goin back to what he once had.
The possibility of a child of his own.
He dreams of his future,
will it be him and another
or will he always be alone?
will his dream of that one child come true.
He's a soldier man, duty calls him far away.
can he find that girl that can handle the lonely nites.
and the long tours away.
He dreamed last nite of that girl far away,
caressing her hair, kissing her sweet lips.
Knowing one day he'll find that perfect match.
He holds his breath and makes a wish.
And he holds her their deep in his heart.
