Comatose
21 May, 2007
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Here they come, The vampires
Sneaking in each night
Sticking me with needles
Checking for signs of life
I wish that I could tell them
I know that they are there
If suddenly I sat up
It would give them quite a scare
Instead I lay here comatose
Half dead and half alive
With the painful things they do to me
It's a wonder if I will survive
Maybe I'll come out of this
And Maybe I will not
I wish they'd just stop sticking me
It's really not asking a whole lot
