Your Other Love
22 July, 2003
Author: Del
The sun is slowly setting, casting shadows ov'er the land.
While you and I are sitting on the still warm sun kissed sand.
To feel you oh, so near me, your sun tanned hand on mine
Is a memory that I'll cherish until the end of time.
But, time we have so little, dear, tomorrow you must go,
To your other love that beckons you, and why I'll never know.
You spend much more time with her, than you ever do with me.
Oh, darling, I'm so jealous of that bewitching restless sea.
She cast a spell upon you, when you were just a little boy.
From now until the day you die, she'll be your fondest joy.
I love you oh, so dearly, there's no one else for me.
So I guess, my dear, I'll always have to share you with the sea
