Lonesome Soldier
20 July, 2003
Author: Del
Every night I see the same ole stars,
Same ole moon shining thru.
Every night in dreams you're in my arms,
But, darling, where are you?
What good is a moon without you?
What good are all the stars above?
My heart is oh, so lonely,
Begging for your love.
Those long cold nights when things look black,
Your laughter fills the air,
No matter where I am, dear,
You're with me everywhere.
Some day soon, the sun will shine,
Thru a bright clear sky of blue.
This lonesome soldier will hurry back,
And fulfill his dreams with you.
