Letters

Hey my love,
I don't know if I have told you
just how much I truly and deeply
feel for you.
The love I feel deep inside my heart
just can't be put into words.
I try to say ohh i love you so much,
yet that doesn't seem to sum it up.
Together we have fought the battle of
years taken away from us.
Yet that has not stopped us from loving
each other so much.
Soon you will return to me, and be with me forever.
No more tours no more time away, no more military taking u from me.
So I'm writing you this letter to say all the things
I've wanted to say.
Your smile brings joy to me, your kiss a sweet delight,
your touch a calming sensation only you can give to me,
the look in your eyes always tells me your in love with me.
Your such a wonderful man.
I could go on and on about how you make me feel.
But I'd have to stay up and write tell November of next year.
With out you I could not be, for you help make up the best part of my world
You gave me a beautiful son and our second baby to come.
So as you read this letters end.
Know your in my thoughts always,
every minute, every second of every day.
I love you always and forever,
Until I'm in your arms and your holding me tight
Ill dream sweet dreams of you and wish upon a star.
Your loving wife

I know this isn't really a poem but I really like this writing. Its hard to say somethings just because time is so fast. This was written when my husband was over in Iraq on his second tour. We are so very lucky hes home now. for a couple more months anyway. |
