Our Rose
18 July, 2003
Author: Del
Deep in my heart you planted a seed
That memorable night, so long ago,
And from that tiny little seed
A beautiful rose did grow.
Oh, what pain the thorns inflicted,
On my faithful tender heart,
During all the long and lonely nights,
You kept us far apart.
But that lovely rose did not die.
It struggled so to stay alive.
My deep and devoted love for you,
Has helped the rose survive.
Now our rose is an everbearing one,
For you came back to me.
We'll share it's beauty and its thorns,
Thru all eternity.
