The Star: Melter Of Hearts
22 June, 2007
Author: Miztrebor
The singing stops
The crowd all turns and parts
The star has arrived
In she walks, through the people
Through the once chaotic pit
Now silent with awe
Even the musicians are dumbfounded
She is the sight of sumthing great
An amazing display of beauty
I am one of those on stage
I have stopped all movement
As have the others
Unlike them, i have known this soul
This heavenly light passing forward
It’s been too long between visits
But she is finally back
I fall to my knees, bowing my head
I place my guitar at my feet
My fingers to numb
And trembling, too much
Not worthy to play the music
Which is deserved of the ears
Upon the queen of hearts
So i just bow
She smiles, and my heart melts
I lye, frozen, a puddle
On the floor, at her feet
But she still smiles
And that image stays
Even now, when she’s gone again
