The Dream We Shared Last Night
18 July, 2003
Author: Del
I still can see you smile at me
While the firelight was gleaming.
'I love you so,' you whispered low.
I knew I must be dreaming.
A bearskin rug, a fireplace
Two arms that held me tight.
Oh, darling, it was heavenly
The dream we shared last night
You whispered that you loved me
And then you dimmed the light.
You kissed me oh, so tenderly
In the dream we shared last night.
The way my heart was singing
Made everything seem right,
Our love became complete, my dear
In the dream we shared last night.
It was just a dream, my darling,
But it filled me with delight.
Forever I'll remember
The dream we shared last night

Ben (67.123.245.208) -- Friday, October 17 2003, 08:08 am Del, as I was reading this my hair burst into flames and caught my hat on fire! If this were a song I think it would melt everybodys speakers when they played it on the radio. You are a talented writer! Now, excuse me please. I gotta go get the vaccum and clean up these ashes! Ha! Ha! Haaa! ***Ben |
