Us Against They
28 June, 2007
Author: Francis Duggan
Since fear to the public is not hard to sell
Out of their fear mongering the politicians do very well
We must find the terrorists destroy their every cell
We'll shoot them and kill them and bomb them to hell.
And the citizens of course believe what they hear
'Tis our leader is saying this he is not spreading fear
On the flagpost in our front yard the flag of our Nation is flying
And our gallant young heroes for freedom are dying.
'Tis they who started this war of us against they
And for their acts of terrorism against us we will make them pay
And since war it has never been a friendly game
For the deaths of thousands of their civilians we don't take the blame.
When our leader says we are good people our leader is right
And they are the evil and them we must fight
Our god is greater than their god and we'll show them our power
We'll bomb them to hell and before us they'll cower.
And their leaders to them preach the same thing as ours
That we are the weeds that are strangling their flowers
We must bomb them and harm them and them we must destroy
For killing them is a thing that we enjoy.
This war of us against they it just goes on and on
And for us the last hope of peace it well may be gone
There is their flag and our flag and us against they
And the innocents are dying in war zones every day.
