An Intimate Moment
3 July, 2007
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
With my head laying against his chest
I listen as his heartbeat slows to a restful sleep
Purring sounds of a gentle lion; his slumber snores
His arm wrapping around; holding me close
Relaxing together in an intimate moment
Comfortable in our love
Comfortable in a trusting heart
Comfortable in who we are to each other
A moment of pause in a hurried world
Quiet time taken for just ourselves
Conjoined we enjoy the repose
Lounging in the summer bliss
