Challenging Love by Princess Moon

Love, I cannot explain it; I see you and I can't deny
My arms long to hang on you so near
Holding your face close, nuzzling along your neck
Having the embrace of your arms with no fear
Love, I cannot help myself, your smile has me on high
Loving the first look upon your handsome face
You being there so dashing, attracting, romancing
With your lips there ready for their kissing embrace
Sweet angel, where did you come from so foreign
I've never known anyone quite like you
Things take off and they spark, how much more can I take
My goodness, do you know all the things you do?
You cause me to long more and more for that moment
When we are in the marriage bed, by God's will
Making love in the young of night, holding on ever so
With the faint light of the moon creeping at the windowsill
I dream, my love, I dream...you've no idea how much
For God to fulfill my heart's desire, and make that dream come true
I am not your wife right now; however I long to be
Let us pray that the Lord will deliver us through
Through the challenge I long for you to overcome, my knight
Save me from the tower of unrequited love
Climb up my brunette locks, and spare me the heartache
Overcome this period before the heavens above
I beg of you, my weakness, show me that you are meant for this
Get through our time of endurance to prove your need for me
Not to prove that it's there, for I undoubtedly know this with all my heart
But simply to make it official for ALL the world to see
I love you, I need you...trust me and take my word to heart
I even pray that you're guarded by angels of mercy and light
Let me love you in honoring our Courtship, my love
For we believe with our hearts, and not with our sight
That one day we'll have our heart's desire, one day we will end this test
And begin our journey anew
And you will see, God had it all in His plan
Whether it is marriage, or new lives we will pursue

I wrote this poem some months ago for my boyfriend and I. He loved it, I hope yall will too. I've not entered my poems recently to this site, but I'm ready to start again. Tell me what yall think...thanks!
