Don't Cry
18 July, 2007
Author: L'Rathi
The notes are sour.
It doesn't mean anything anymore.
I'm not sure it ever did.
The love songs are dying in your throat
The cords choking you as you try to bugle.
Scream, boy, scream.
The hearts grow cold.
I don't love you anymore.
I'm not sure I ever really did.
Shut up and face your sh*t.
You poisoned this well.
Now drink it, boy.
Hearts as cold as lumps of rock.
Unfeeling, uncaring, unsympathetic.
Stones don't cry.
And neither will I.
