Oh God
27 July, 2007

Oh God, I don't want to die,
but I have nothing true to live for.
Oh God, I don't want to live,
but I have someone I would die for.

Oh God, let her see the need inside,
but do not let her see me needy.
Oh God, show her how I've loved before,
but do not scare her with my desires.

Oh God, let her know I understand,
but never say I want to mend her.
Oh God, give her insight to my soul,
but never let her see my failings.

Oh God, give me patience to wait forever,
but never tell her that I will.
Oh God, let her feel the way I feel,
but never run away from feeling.
