I'm Listening I
30 July, 2007
Author: Scurrd
I’m listening but nodding off
I’ll feel better when I wake up
Your voice is like a medicine
Giving me the sickness of sleep that I so badly need
So I open my eyes and dream
With an empty stare
You grab my attention
But only for a second
I say good bye again
Now with a smile, I will sleep tight
Now I will dream
And make believe all the things I wish could really be
Make believe I’m somewhere far away from here
Make believe I’m something meant to go somewhere
