I'll See You Again
1 August, 2007
Author: Terrie Lavelle
no sun is shining anymore since you went away
all i see in the sky is grey
in the breeze i feel you hugging me
i no your up there watching me my heart tells me so
why did they take you grandad?
it wasn't your time to go
you used to make us smile
and you made us laugh
the jokes you used to say where funny
they where never daft
i wish you where right now
mum misses you so much
to know we will never see your face again
will always bring us down,
i remember just before you passed away
i see you on the bus that day
you smiled and said i love your hair
you was the only one that noticed
that shows how much you care
i no your watching down on us
me, samantha, callum and mum
guiding through the days ahead
and watching us sleep safely in bed
i miss you grandad
i miss you so much
but i know i'll see you again
