So many times, I've wanted to say this phrase
Carelessly throwing it around, as though in a dreary daze
Playing as though it is a childish game.
I don't want to say a meaningless saying,
At least not with it including your name.
Three words, so hard to say,
Don't want it to fade, to go away.
I've said it before, to a few others,
Redundantly as though they knew me as my mother.
Not realizing the full effect,
Lusting for one person until it makes you upset.
When I say it I want it to mean something,
Though I want to say at first, in return.
So I know that you know my longing desire that burns,
To be with you, you're to good to be true.
I'm yearning to let you know,
I never want to have to let go.
This feeling ,
I feel like we have been friends for the longest time,
I don't want to screw it up if I know that you are mine.
As friends, we have cared,
So many great times we have shared.
I don't want to say the words, but I know it's what I feel,
First, I need to know for sure that it's real.
