You say,”Never”
I hear; “someday”.
You say, “Slowly”
I hear; today.

You say, “Friends”
I hear; “lover”.
You say, “This must Stop”
I hear; “it's not over”.

You say, “I'll run away”
I hear; “I'll linger very near”.
You say, “Please, let me be”
I hear; “Please, come closer Dear”.

You say, “This will never be”.
I hear; “Maybe, we'll wait and see”.
You say, “In a perfect world you'd see”.
I hear; “That perfect world is here with me”
