24 Hr. Buttstomper
6 August, 2007
Author: Dino Hi
If you think you are tuff
Enjoy dirtbiking in the rough
Then come to the mountains at Gold Bar
Where the rain has left it soggy and scarred
You'll see the low clouds and rising mist
You're up for the challenge and want to do this
It's only twelve miles long, that is all
As you travel the course, you didn't expect the many falls
Over twisted roots and big granite rocks
Into deep dugout trenches and your dirtbike locks
Lifting it out, your sweat starting to pour
Cramps setting in,and you're wanting no more
Five mile mark, eight, nine, then the last mile
Down cliffs,wedge rocks,root steps,must rest awhile
This the longest mile, and have to dig deep
Again down creek ravines,up rocky cliffs,I creep
The finish line finally reached, three and a half hours
My bike over heated,my body drained of powers
Exhausted I'm done,I can't go on anymore
Came here,did one lap,go on,what for
You've got twenty hours to go,what you mean
Kiss my butt, stomper,it's turned to cream
Thanks for the T-shirt and sourvenir glass
A memento and reminder, that this is my first and last

July 21-22,2007 Thanks grandson Drake, for coming with me and being my only pitcrew. Gave you my glass, with bigfoot kicking a biker's butt. Remember grandpa at 58. I've got monkey butt now. |

It's good to see that you're going out and getting your excerise, so that those joints wont't rub together, you know. Even though you were tired because you can't move as fast as you used to, it's just nice to read. Enjoyed this sir! |

Wow the pain, then got my got my pants down to my knees, when both legs cramped up from my toes to my hip. Ha, ha, had to lay there, for 10 minutes before the cramps went away. You're right, the body ain't like it use to be. Glad you enjoyed the read. |
