Our Nights Together
3 January, 2001
Author: Amanda
I lie on my side,
Knowing I'll dream of you and I.
As I doze off in dreamland,
Where I find you waiting for me.
I walk in the room,
There you are.
So perfect like usual.
Intimidating, my heart is pounding.
You smile and everything goes away.
You're my sunshine on a cloudy day,
Waiting for those three words you will say.
I lye next to you,
The candles are dim,
The thoughts in my mind are that of true sin.
Slowly my dress seems to slip off.
Your clothes,
They disappear.
All I can think is how happy I am you are here.
It starts with a little nibble on an ear,
My spontaneousness takes over.
So many things going through my mind.
So much I want to try.
You hold so much power over my heart,
To scream or to cry.
I lay back as you fall forward.
Staring in your eyes, as you gently feel up.
Knowing this was to good to be true,
So soon I woke up.
To a phone ringing,
How awkward, it was you.
