I Thought Of The Friends I Value
21 August, 2007
Author: Hope
Walking upon the shore
Here I was thinking of friends
I viewed the far horizon
As the sun slowly descends
By the ocean at sunset
At the closing of another day
So many of my thoughts
Are of those friends far away
Visions in the sky reflect
A glowing sunsets red ember
While days come and go
Friends are ones I remember
Soon it was twilight time
Yet tomorrow will dawn anew
Sitting here by the ocean
I thought of the friends I value
