The Pressure To Be The Moon
27 August, 2007
Author: Miztrebor
There are two sides to everyone
You said it yourself
The part you hide from the world
And the part that they all see
But is there truly a dark side to the moon?
Does it feel it can’t withstand the pressure
The pressure to shine for us all?
So the moon shuts itself out
And never lets off steam
So it holds it all inside
And in the end, will it let out a big scream
Demolish itself for none to enjoy its beauty
Or will it vent it off slowly
And preserve its' own image
Of being that perfect sphere
In the sky that everyone Loves
And they take for granted
Now will there be a day when she
Blows off a little steam
I think there will be
But we should fix all out problems
Before these feelings kill me
