The Crazy Ride
30 August, 2007

Up in the mountains, in the mist racers get ready for the race of the year Facing grueling agonizing pain without shedding a tear Not even a geezer will be number one Many racers will just say "I'm done." After one lap its time to relax, since cramps give pain to the max Time to go with a T-Shirt, glass, and memories Now to home..to catch some Z's. |

Red Titan (71.217.53.29) -- Thursday, September 13 2007, 06:10 am Nice poem Dman14. Ya,got to give credit to those that try. We challenge ourselves in many ways. Our mind challenge our body, to put it into the most grueling physical event. Then the pain comes, and now it's the will & heart, to reach the end. You'll know when "you're done." Then you'll leave with a smile on your face. At least you tried. Now you can say "been there, done that!" Better to fail, then not to try at all.----enjoyed all your poems Dman14, keep up the good work. |
