On The Hill
31 August, 2007
Author: Miztrebor
Dandelion seeds, feathered,
Floating on the wind.
Aimless paths each one takes
Many a wondering soul i see.
Cars hiss by below,
While i high upon my hill,
This perch of solitude.
A butterfly, white,
Flutters on the wind.
Sniffing the flowers
Enjoying a life of ease.
The factory living below,
Workers coming in and out,
I sit watching quelling the sounds.
Nature, all around,
Crawling, living, being,
Amongst all the chaos
And gratifying an onlooker.
