Painfully Sweet Memories
3 September, 2007
Author: Miztrebor
All you f***in lies
All your f***in pride
All this f***in doubt
It’s all in you mind
I doubt you ever knew
Just what you had
Living in a world all your own
Only taking part when you thought it right
And keeping your self out when you could
I know you still care
But it’s too late
She’s moved past this
So why don’t you
It’s the only way to survive
You kan’t keep up this Love for long
Leave the past, but don’t forget
She was the great teacher
It’ll be a shame to block out those memories
Of her intoxicating taste
Her lips on your’s
Two bodies one
Two minds melt together
Then separated in that last touch on the cheek
Like the first one, then she got you high
Only a memory is her laugh
She had always tried to hide
But you never cared
Only that she was happy, not sad
Just keep the memories alive
And leave your feelings behind
If that’s possible, to block out Love
It’s not, now is it?
