Love Has Flown

Near the Tyne,
where you seek what you find.
Closure for the one you thought you had,
peace and quiet from your mam and dad.
So I seek,
a heart not so weak.
But we are who we are I am told,
I'm saddled with this melting heart of gold.
Crumbling to pieces,
the pain never ceases.
I stand alone and so unfound,
suppressing my tears but I can't drown out the sound.
Where to go,
I'll never know.
Friends to my left and to my right,
I know that I can touch that light.
The one to me that seems so far,
that to get there you'd need a car.
I pace myself remaining strong,
that without her I can get along.
Stumbling now and again,
pushing deeper my own pain.
No hand to hold I tread alone,
now that my LOVE HAS FLOWN!!!
