Subconsciously Speaking
23 September, 2007
Author: Miztrebor
Never did think of her in this light
Until the words came out, without a thought,
Subconsciously knowing that under lying thought.
Maybe it could work out,
I’ve known her for so long.
Only friends like us can know each other,
But not know really at all.
Maybe in a little while
It will all clear, this smoke of thought.
Leaving me, as if it never was
Or it may have never been.
So it can’t leave me,
Can it?
But as i look back
The signs were there,
That awkward stare.
Her spirit was always high,
On what i do not know.
And when it was down,
I was always around
To get a smile from a frown
And talk with her a little while.
This always cheered her up,
But me the most.
This feeling will last.
I haven’t felt like this
For a long while,
It’s been all in the past.
