The Reaper
29 September, 2007
Author: Miztrebor
The man in black
The robes of silver
The chains of death
The chill of winter
Whenever he comes
People start to quiver
He creeps up behind all day long
He’s there right now
When you sing that song
Don’t fear the reaper
He just does his job
He’s waiting for that moment you forget the words
When you choke up on stage
When you don’t know what’s wrong
It’s only him, don’t panic
It’s just your time to leave
Everyone has their day
I’m sorry today is your’s
But you just can’t stay
