The Legend Of Luna
29 September, 2007
Author: Miztrebor
Looking out upon this valley
It brings on so many memories of better days
When I was happier
And always help to be in a daze
Confused of what god on Olympus clouded my mind
My spirit always lifted at the thought of a call
The moon being her throne
These were days of unpredictable night
When would she again call?
Would she even bother?
If herself alone was a goddess
Then what be of me
A mere mortal sitting upon this rock
Where could she find it in her vast heart?
To ever Love a mere man
Even though many divinities have in the past
Death has come unto many a mortal
For this untimely sin
She haven’t called for me in many a night
Maybe father Zeus has forbade it
Maybe the sport is gone
Shall she take up another mortal
Man or woman alike
She can take up either form and more
I know she still thinks of us
I have seen her purple tears
They have soaked the night sky many times now
That royal color reserved for the immortals so divine
On the thoughts I dwell
Hope the only thing between me and Hades
Maybe he can give me a better story to tell
For of all the gods upon the pinnacle Olympus
He is the most revered, as well as misunderstood
He may give me a better tale to tell
