What You Don't Know
9 October, 2007

What you don't know is
how it feels to expose
my vulnerabilities to you
or how hard it is to
separate your fabrications
from what is known to be
true.

What you don't know is
how it sounds to hear
you say you love me
or how confusing you
can be, especially in the
morning when I have
just awakened from dreaming
a dream.

What you don't know is
how it looks when you
can't remember the
words to our song or
how much I miss you
when you are gone.
