The Soul Killer
9 October, 2007
Author: Miztrebor
The reflection fades
And the glass shatters
The body falls
And death comes on
The eyes are still open
It's soul leaking out
The killer’s still up above
The street so far below
The impact, the only sound heard
Through the silence inside the hole
The sound still echoes through the ears
Of the thousands starring here
Dumbfounded and in fear
Of their own thoughts all made clear
That could be them lying there
Taking their own life
Quelling all the tears
Only to take up the knife
An experiment of faith
“Will he save me?”
“If he doesn’t I’ll only die,
Why wait another day?”
