Facelift
18 December, 2003
Author: Dino Hi
There you stood the test of time, standing tall and white
So precisely made, one of a kind, proud and bright
But time has taken it's toll, weathered and beaten
You've got cracks and wrinkles, bugs have eaten
Your legs are crumbling, diseased and rotten
Disgusted at your appearance, ignored and forgotten
The time has come, cut into pieces and crashes
Bashed and beaten, thrown into the pits of ashes
Once beautiful, burned from existence in flames
Only to be renewed, rebuilt, and not the same
A new facelift, more beautiful then before
Rip out the drab, new excitement outside my door
.....Once more
