My forever lover
has passed me by
turning back
he looks away

I look toward the sky
it start to rain
time to say good-bye
another rose dies
as it beings to dry
being cut away
left alon the way
as another day begins
another story ends

I cry
inside
I fight the fear
the original spark
faded
leaving me wishing
it never away
