Love Went Away
16 October, 2007
Author: Willahh
Bright one night when the moon was whole
The greatest love story of my life began to unfold
He freed me from my insecurity
by tracing his fingers
along the lines of mine
I could feel his love
touching me as our souls
began to intertwine
The dance we danced
not confined by measure of time
Then morning came
in an explosion of golden light
the sun did rise, and My Love,
He held me tight
and kissed me a million times
all different, no two kisses the same
unique like snowflakes
before he went away
