A Key Chain
5 July, 2003
Author: Dino Hi
Out of the blue, the mom hands her son a new key chain
Sorry son, no key, please don't complain
He cherished the gift, and loved the name
A boyhood dream he has, someday he'll claim
The years has gone by, now a full grown man
Has his own son now, and lots of new plans
Still the dream has never left him, he search
He and his son, even wear the T-shirts
Then one morning, out of the blue
He shows up at his mom's house, a surprise for you
There sitting in the driveway, all shiny and blue
He still had, that faded-out key chain
This time he had a key, and no complain
His mom sees, his dream shared with his own son
As they ride away, on that blue, 97 fat-boy Harley Davidson

Dino (67.27.46.254) -- Wednesday, July 9 2003, 12:22 am I like your name, Enchanter. Glad you got your medicine. Laughter is good medicine. Everyone should have their dreams come true. Why wait till your old and retired to enjoy something you like. If that fat-boy Harley is part of your dreams, then go for it and enjoy sitting and riding that fat-boy. Thanks for your comment Enchanter. I wonder why they call it a fat-boy? I'm the one that felt fat sitting on it. |
