One leaving one behind
leaves a lonely place
lost in time
I will not cry
when you pass by
because down deep
in my heart
I know I have
tried

Two by two lovers
take each other by
the hand heading
off to their own
make-belief land
I stay close to home
for that is where
my heart is and
I will rest assured
it will be my love
that you will miss . . .
