Vanishing Love

I was standing in front of you.
Looking at you're teary eyes; searching for an answer,
but perhaps you couldn't tell me what is it all about.
thats why without any questions I hugged you tight.

As I remember, when we are in the shore,
holding hand to hand gazing at the canopy of the sky.
It was clear star studded night as you look at me and smiled,
I could see forever into you're eyes.
It was an overwhelming sense of happiness.

While i was driving over, I had this strange nuance.
Time stops for a while and at one second i felt like crying.
I know it was you...
Its been a month since I saw you smiling like that,
you smiled as if you were the luckiest person on earth.
You hold her hands as if someone will take her away from you.

As i watch you walking away,
my tears suddenly fell down; I was hurt.
It was like a knife plunging into my heart.
I'm so much afraid for confrontations; Afraid of losing you.
I shouldn't feel sorry, in fact i should be angry but on one hand,
I could not wait to see you, to hold you and even kiss you.

The roof had fallen in on the top of me,
When i didn't heard any single words coming from you when i said "I love you"
I hugged you tight coz i know it'll be the last.

I ran away, after you say sorry for it was over,
It was the last thing I've expected.
For our Love seems so strong,
but love wasn't enough for there are times we have to stop.
I hate to say goodbye, but i need to.
for it was the only way to see you happy than in mine.

Nice poem

Always hard to say good-bye to a relationship. Guess we all have to go through one. Just wasn't ment to be and we go on with life and just remember the past from time to time. Enjoyed your poem, keep writing to us Jellie Ann.
