Way Out From Darkness
23 October, 2007
Author: Jellie Ann Colarina-Oliveros
I was walking in a dimly lit street,
without any directions.
I looked up the full moon shining above,
And the darkness covered me with loneliness.
I began to walk faster as I heard a sound of Heavy footstep behind,
I looked back, I saw nothing but Darkness,
The wind suddenly blows, so I embraced myself,
having this strange feeling or maybe it was Emptiness.
There was a sudden roar of a car,
then a squeal of a breaks.
At one glimpse; it hits me...
no more chance to scream.
I can see darkness again,
my eyes were filled with tears,
i thought it was all over...
Am i dreaming? do i still Breath?
I am tired of running...
hoping I could escape,
And run away from the so called DEATH.
