Counting Days
25 October, 2007
Author: Jellie Ann Colarina-Oliveros
I stepped outside and my eyes was filled with tears,
As I watch the sunset; Afraid of one day I wouldn't be awakened.
I lied back so I couldn't see the terrible beauty of the sky,
But it was you,
Your face that I've seen...
You have the sweetest smile that mesmerized me.
I sit beside you And hugged you tight,
For it was you whom I wanted to spend my life with...
As I marveled in the depths of my loneliness,
You still managed to make me smile,
You hold my hand and touch my lips..
You're the only reason why i have this cowardness,
If I would be given a chance,
Another Life...
I wouldn't want somebody else If it wasn't you...
As I leave...
shed no tears my Love.
For I don't want to see my baby crying.
