The Awkward Age
10 November, 2007
Author: Bipedalguy
Any soldier is too old to cry,
and no soldier is too young to die
Yes, he may lose his life
By a gun or a knife
but he's damned if he dares to ask why.
------- Author's Notes -------
A soldier is a hard thing to be, every day. |

Bipedalguy (75.67.182.104) -- Sunday, November 11 2007, 07:47 am I'm so sorry that your husband died so young. They say time heals. True or not, I've found that the passage of time, after a loss, makes me see that "going on" is possible because, after many years, "going on" is exactly what has happened. It's more learning than healing. God bless you. |
