Sleeping in, waking up late, what's new?
With the wife, watching Regies and Kelly, and the View
Then Young and the Restless, and Bold and the Beautiful
Oh, did I admit that? How pitiful
Snap out of it man! Got things to do!
Mow the grass, pick up the dog doo-doo
Suddenly it's dinner time, where did the day go?
I hardly got started, still the front yard to mow
Oh well, having dinner and watching Trading Spaces
Ha,ha, look at Vern, he's the best, sewing laces
Oh good, we're watching Christopher Lowel
He's wearing a dress, talks funny, but quite a show
Snap out of it man! Got things to do and mow
Can't tell my friends, that I watch these shows
What happen to football, boxing, and baseball?
Have my views changed in age, for things to install?
Snap out of it man! Be a man!
Before I start to crochet, getting feminine hands
Put your boots on, let's go to work, still some daylight
Things to do, places to mow, before the night
Then we can settle down, to watch Q-V-C

This one made me smile Dino! The line "before I start to crochet,getting feminine hands"...really made me laugh! I love the sense of humour here! Times have changed,Dino...men watch and do things they would never have dreamed of when I was young!The other point that came from your poem was how addictive TV can be and stops you getting on with work! Yes,I think we all know how that feels and life does seem to revolve round what's on TV today! Any way i'm off to watch my favourite chat show! (Hehe!!) Bye now!
