So Glad
16 May, 2003
Author: Dino Hi
I see the writings everywhere
Why? What's going on?
All over the picture frames, bulletin board
What does it all mean?
I'm insensitive, I don't pay attention
Not flirted with, don't show love
She's gone, catching the first plane out
I don't know what I did wrong?
I'm confused, left alone now
Seeing everywhere, these writings in red
Then I awake, door is close
I yell her name, no answer
I get dress quickly, I see her leaving
Going out the door, she's moving quickly
Hi Hon! I gotta go, mail all these letters
Go to the hospital, oh wait, my other shoes
I love you! I love you too!
How do I look? She speeds away
I find a card she left behind, it says
"I want you by my side, even when we're growed up, and growed old"
It was only a bad dream I had
So glad, So glad, So glad

For a poem I through off to the side for months, I'm really surprized it got a comment. Goes to show you, you just never know. Yes, I guess it was a fear and the dream seem so real. Thanks again! |
