Our Father Christmas

Our Father Christmas
Please bless us here tonight
We gather once a year
And hold each other tight
Please know and hear our prayer
As we sing it in the night
We know that you are here
Oh bless us, Jesus Christ
We celebrate your birth
Spreading peace and love
Felt all around the earth
Is happiness from up above
The tree is full of priceless things
Ornaments and lights galore
The gifts are settled in below
All is quiet, but the children's snore
Hallow their soul tonight, as they dream
They've left you cookies, decorated in green
The outside lights are left on, so you'll see
As you journey on
Through our hearts to be seen
Oh our Father Christmas
Bless you on this day
Bless another year of living
Bless all along your way
