Taste Of Sorrow
27 December, 2007
Author: Mechelle.S.Loraine
It’s easy to drink your sorrows away
When the world doesn’t have anything new to say
It’s easy to delude what you can’t forget
Drowning in heartache and past regrets
With each sip it gets easier, the pain’s not so strong
Yet you know in your heart it all must be wrong
It’s hard to watch yourself changing everyday
Seeing the real you slowly fading away
Everything seems so faked, not even sure why you’re here
Searching in the echoes of the darkness
For someone who might just care
It’s a long and endless search, the glass an only friend
You visit that place again and again
Yes it’s easy to drink your sorrows away
Cause life just doesn’t have anything new to say.
