A Little Smile

It's New Years Eve,
hope for many things,
new years peace,
more compassion,
more wisdom,
in this delicate world,
spinning
madly at times.
Sunlight poured into my rooms
this morning,
sun shadows on red paint,
warmth on
an otherwise
crisp snowing day.
It's been a long, enjoyable day
of reflection for me,
a day of tranquility.
Now in the moment
of magical countdown
to this new year,
I fell calm contentment.
Snow sparkles rainbow colours !
Maybe the world smiles a little....
