Our Hearts Are Interlaced
2 January, 2008
Author: Hope
In weaving threads to and fro
Loving hearts interlaced
Everything we have shared
Could never be replaced
In strengthening ties that bind
Yours threaded with mine
In colourful dreams created
Our loving hearts entwine
Heartprints we have blended
Creating a loving tapestry
Each gave reasons to shine
Love shared continuously
Closely bonded forevermore
Across threads interlaced
Within hearts we had woven
Love we each embraced

Princess Moon (24.170.41.14) -- Friday, January 4 2008, 05:24 am Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I loved how much you compared in lacing the heart rather than just describing them together. I find this poem so beautifully "interlaced" from verse to verse. Especially the line "Heartprints we have blended/ Creating a loving tapestry..." I loved that line. It kind of created a colorful painting for me. Lovely, just lovely! |
