In The Night's Dream

I lay awake tonight
But in my bed i am fast asleep.
In my dreams it is i awake.
Not awake in fear,
Dismay, nor disorder.
I lay there in thought,
The thought of the woman beside me.
I am a lucky man
Receiver of Love,
Warmth, and passion
From this woman.
It is an honor to sleep here
With this woman so fair,
So wondrously amazing.
I can't not sleep next to my Love,
That would be dishonorable.
So i shall sacrifice my dreams
Use them to realize the beauty,
The compassion the care,
And the Love that her and i share.
I shall lye awake while dreaming,
I shall sleep to keep Loving,
I shall give her my heart.
And hold her close so, that in the morning,
I can realize i didn't just dream her,
And that my Lovely is really in my arms.
