Smiling Sun
3 February, 2008
Author: Jellie Ann Colarina-Oliveros
Sun rays touches my face,
sadness knocks early everyday,
I keep on hiding this pain,
Hoping days would wash them away...
I fake a smile,
so no one could see,
How this so called love,
slowly killing me...
Keep on wishing in at the sky,
or am i asking for too much...
slowly i whisper to the wind,
wishing he could be mine...
I wake up everyday,
thinking how special he is...
desperately seeking for his kind eye.
Then he'll be aware that I'm patiently waiting...
So perhaps the most awaited day would come,
That I'll be happy to see the smiling sun,
for i know not just for a while...
but forever you'll be mine.
