Disappearing Snow
4 February, 2008
Author: Pondering Red
That fiery look in your eyes,
your small ,almost invisible eyes,
hides dark secrets,
shows unhappiness.
This is not the fire of passion
when lovers first meet
and stay up all night,
bantering ,delighting in commonalities
and differences.
Nor is it the fire of summer
and festivals of music and energys flying,
zigzagging, sparking
sultry looks and sensual hand gestures.
The fire in your eyes
speaks of catastrophies,
of unresolved rage and running away,
running to where you will only fuel more fire.
Your eyes melt the snow.
The icy patches and remnants
from the storm dissolve.
You walk the bare sidewalks,
city dust blowing in your eyes.
You walk through the hazy mirage.
Your eyes light your way.
You disappear with the mid april snows.
Fire and ice.
Black and white.
For you there is no inbetween.
You disappear into your unreal world.
