A Day To Remember
15 February, 2003
Author: Dino Hi
Can't believe, a year has already gone by
The very last time I saw you, and said good-bye
We are all effected in some way, no one's to blame
Valentine's Day, will never be the same
A day to remember, a prayer sent up to the sky today
Hearing her voice, her saying "Let that bird fly away"
Her spirit is seen in red roses, ladybugs, and birds
That funny laugh, half Indian smile, and years of words
As spring arrives, the red rose buds will bloom
Her memory will come alive, her beauty seen soon
The hummingbird will come, to feed on it's nectar
The sight of ladybugs, going up and down, aphids it's after
This is not only a day to show love, but remembrance too
For my kids Grandma Jody, this is sent to you
You won't be forgotten, we all miss and love you forever
February 14, 2002 a day to remember
