Apologies I Accepted
28 February, 2008
Author: Hope
What of those apologies
Why were they sent
I never did figure out
What they really meant
Are you hiding the facts
When you apologise
I question the motive
Was the truth disguised
If I am no longer needed
I rather you be true
Maybe your silence
Was giving me that clue
Having kept my promise
In friendship sincerity
Apologies I accepted
Thinking you needed me
